Prague Letňany Airport Open Day will take place on Saturday, September 5th. Admission to the event is free and as usual there will be interesting ground and air programme from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The specialty of this year will be airmail.
The oldest flying plane of Czechoslovak construction Praga E.114 Air Baby will fly with post from airport Točná to Letňany Airport where it will land around 2 p.m. Then historic car Praga Super Piccolo will take post from Letňany airport to near PVA EXPO area where Collector exhibition will take place from September 3 to 5.
Czech Post issued a special postcard designed by painter Vaclav Zapadlík to this event.
Air mail is organized in collaboration of Prague Letňany Airport, Collector exhibition, Praga Picolla exhibition and Czech post.
